Founder's Day Pictures

We celebrated Founder's Day on Saturday, May 2 at Hillcrest Country Club! It was great seeing everyone and honoring those women who made Pi Phi a lasting legacy. Thanks to everyone for coming! We hope to see you all at our next event in the fall...details to be announced later!

Sorry for the delay in getting these posted, but we have had technical difficulties. :)

Here are some photos from the Christmas Tea that Karen Lowe hosted. It was very fun to see old & new Pi Phis and to exchange angel ornaments.

And we also have a photo from the wine tasting at Wine Styles. It was so fun and very relaxing! If you haven't been there, Wine Styles is on Fairview, next to Great Harvest Bread Company. They have a great set up for wine tastings and everything was scrumptious!

Our next event is the Founder's Day brunch. When we have all the details worked out, we will be sending out an Evite so you can RSVP. We would love to see all of your smiling faces!

Christmas Pi Phi Tea & Finals Care Packages

Hey Pi Phis! Our annual Christmas Tea is Saturday, December 6th. We will be e-mailing out an Evite invitation so be looking for it this week. Remember to bring an angel ornament for the exchange! We look forward to seeing everyone.

Also...what do you think about preparing a care package for the Idaho Alpha Pi Phis for finals week? We could send up a box or two of yummy treats and some encouraging notes. E-mail us at boisepiphis@gmail.com and let us know if you are interested in helping.

Last night we held our annual Wear Your Letters bunco bash at Tanya's house and what a great time we had! We laughed and laughed! If you didn't make it this year, try to next time! It was a ton of fun!

A special THANK YOU to Tanya for hosting it & opening up her home to all of us. And thank you to everyone else for bringing yummy treats & kids books to donate to Operation Wishbook.

Our next event is scheduled for Saturday, December 6th at Karen Lowe's house. We will post more details here as the time gets closer & we send out an Evite to confirm date & time. Just an FYI...we do an angel ornament gift exchange. You might want to start looking for that perfect ornament because they are sometimes a challenge to find in December.

Pi Phi Wine fundraiser?

Hey Pi Phis--
We have the opportunity to make our own wine! There is a store in Boise called "WineCorkers" where you can make, bottle & design your own label for your own wine. The owner, Tom, is a Fiji from UI and he has offered to help us get this project off the ground. We could make the wine (about 30 whole bottles or 60 1/2 bottles) and sell it to raise money for a charity in the Treasure Valley. Some ideas are: Keeps Kids Warm, Red Cross, Women & Children's Alliance, etc. We are open to other suggestions as well....those are just some I came up with on the top of my head!

We are looking for feedback; is this a good idea? Would you be interested in spending $20 for 2 1/2 bottles of wine? Would you be interested in donating some cash upfront to get this project off the ground? We have to have $250 to get the wine made and then we have to sell the bottles.
